Our favorite dot markers are the Do-a-Dot Paint Markers. While you can totally get away with just the Rainbow set, we also have the Brilliant set as well. These have lasted us for YEARS and we use them quite often. Only one paint marker is officially “messed up” after all these years, but we can still use it carefully.
A Quick Tip Before Using Dot Paint Markers
One thing about dot markers that I honestly don’t like is that once you’ve used them, it’s difficult to use the activity page or worksheet again. Two favorite supplies of mine are transparent counters and Power Magnets.
The child can use the counters or magnets FIRST, then go back and use the dot paint later. This means you can use the page more than once! Woohoo!
