Printable Uppercase Letter Tiles
If you need a class set of uppercase letter/punctuation tiles or even just a few for a small group or at home, just print these little “tiles” out to use.
Please note: The size of the printable tiles is a little larger than the plastic letter tiles. To make them durable and re-usable, I highly recommend printing them on cardstock and laminating them.
Included in this pack are:
- Uppercase letter “tiles” – for in print font AND a slant {or manuscript} font. Each font type has an all black set and a set with consonants black and the vowel teams red.
- Punctuation “tiles” – for periods, exclamation marks, question marks, commas, quotation marks (beginning and ending), apostrophes, and semicolons
I’ve included a base line under each letter to help learners transfer that letter knowledge to handwriting with a base line.
These smaller “tiles” can be used as learners spell words at their desk in a lesson with everyone, such as a Making Words lesson. You can even print a set for each learner to use during independent spelling activities or at your word work center.
You can even combine them with our lowercase alphabet letter tiles to work on spelling proper nouns, abbreviations, or creating simple sentences.

Thank You! We’ve been building words in our public school but I’ve been the only one touching the tiles 😟. They enjoy this time- but I’ve been wanting them to have the ability to move the letters – so this is exciting!
