It’s time for some Printable Blend Letter Tiles + Consonant Cluster Tiles!

This is the 4th set in a series in which I’m sharing smaller printable “tiles.” You can use these with individual learners, and they match the free sets from my oversized blend & consonant cluster cards. Be sure to scroll to the bottom to find all the posts in this series.

Printable Blend Tiles

Included in this download pack are blend and consonant cluster “tiles” for print font and slant/manuscript font.

You’ll find beginning and ending blends PLUS beginning consonant cluster cards*!

Beginning Blends included: bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, sl, br, cr, dr, fr, gr, pr, tr, sc, sk, sm, sn, sp, st, sw, tw, and qu

Ending Blends included: ct, ft, ld, lk, lp, lt, mp, nd, ng (technically a digraph), nk, nt, pt, rd, rk, sk, sp, and st

Consonant Clusters included: scr, shr, spl, spr, squ, str, and thr

*If you’re looking for more printables featuring consonant clusters, be sure to check out our Consonant Clusters Puzzles as well as our Color the Chunk Pages.

Please note: The size of the printable tiles is a little larger than the plastic letter tiles. To make them durable and re-usable, I highly recommend printing them on cardstock and laminating them.

I’ve included a base line under each letter to help learners transfer that letter knowledge to handwriting with a base line.

These  smaller “tiles” can be used as learners spell words at their desk in a lesson with everyone, such as a Making Words lesson. You can even print a set for each learner to use during independent spelling activities or at your word work center.

You can even combine them with our lowercase alphabet letter tiles to work on spelling proper nouns, abbreviations, or creating simple sentences.
