If you’ve followed along very long, you know that my “blogging buddy” is The Measured Mom. We’ve co-authored three learning series so far:
1- Preschool and Kindergarten Writing Lessons,
2- Simple Writing Lessons in the Primary Grades, and
3- Reading Comprehension Strategies.
All of these have been fun to work on together, but I’m especially excited about this low-prep learning games series simply because I’m “addicted” to making printables. This series is called Print & Play!

Print & Play: Low-Prep Learning Games
The purpose of this series is to provide low-prep learning games for kids entering K through 2nd grades. And”low-prep” means you won’t have to cut, glue, or staple anything! Just print and play! You don’t even have to laminate anything {unless you really want to}.
For 6 weeks, Anna of The Measured Mom will post a math learning game and I will post literacy learning games. The games will be in black and white {no colored ink needed…another bonus}. Feel free to use these games during a school break, as after school games or any time games!

Materials for the Low-Prep Games
There is a very small amount of prep work you may have to do before you can play the games, but it shouldn’t take you more than 2-3 minutes to grab some manipulatives. Below are some materials that I recommend to go with the games, but feel free to use what you already have on-hand, even if it’s dried beans, bottle caps or pennies.

I love this sight. So many exciting and easy ideas..Thanks for sharing!
You’re very welcome. Thank you for the compliment.
Thank you for your lovely resources. I don’t suppose there’s a chance you could make versions with British spelling?
I don’t have plans to make those at this time. Sorry.
Is there somewhere that I can find the sight word mazes from 2012?
Are you referring to the sight word mazes from Reading the Alphabet?–> https://thisreadingmama.com/free-reading-curriculum/reading-the-alphabet-prek-curriculum/
If so, there’s a maze in each lesson.
This is a great site with a ton of resources! I love checking in each day to see what I’ve missed. Thank you for providing this to (special education) teachers like me that are always searching for new and exciting ways to teach the same skills.
You are very welcome! I love what I get to do in this little space online. It’s fun and such a blessing!
I want to say thank you for all of your time, explanations, ease of use documents, and good character. Your website is a wonderful place for homeschool educational support.

All these games are wonderful. Thank you for sharing your hard work. I have never accessed so many free games from one place before. Just know that you are influencing so many young learners. You will never know how meaningful your generosity will be to young minds. I teach 40 kids a year to learn to read. These awesome materials will help me be a better teacher. Thank you!
Aw, you are so welcome! I love what I do and that I can help so many. 🙂

Thank you so much. It is so great that you are willing to share especially with the start of school when there is so much to buy.
