Build & Write Digraph Spelling Mats
The unique thing about these digraph spelling mats is that there is a single box for single sounds and a double box for the digraph.
Because a digraph is two letters put together to make one sound, like you see in this digraph poster from my BOB Books printable series, two boxes are combined together.
The digraph spelling mats come in two levels (with the words and without the words) and are great for a center or for at-home practice of digraphs.
Learners can say the word, spell it with letter stamps, then write the word with pencil. This makes the pages consumable. It also means you can check his work at a later time.
Learners can say the word, spell it with letter tiles, then write the word with pencil.
The spelling mats can also be re-usable by slipping them into a dry erase pocket {which I’ve come to like more than plastic sleeve protectors} and using letter tiles and dry erase marker.
