Level 2 Sight Word Sentence Cards
These level 2 cards come directly from my printable sight word lists, which combines words from the Dolch P list Fry’s first 100 word list.
Just like our level 1 sight word cards, the level 2 cards include the sight word and a sentence below, featuring the sight word. The words included in the sentences are either: Level 1 sight words, Level 2 sight words, CVC words, CVCC/CCVC words, or words that can be figured out with support from the image.
Place the cards in a clip ring and put at a center or near your child’s work area at home. Learners can read the sentences
or spell the words with things like magnetic letters, letter stamps, Wikki Stix, playdough, or letter tiles to add a hands-on component.
They can even be combined with level 1 word cards!

Thanks for sharing all these wonderful resources. Even I’m making my own Chinese homeschooling materials and resources, but I’m glad I can use yours for my English resources too. I think both of them together makes my “school time” very close to perfect! Thanks!
Sounds awesome! 🙂
These are great! Will you be doing cards for each level? I have a second grader that could sure use them! Thanks!
Yes, I will.
I love these. I can’t wait to use them in the class. Visiting your site gets me all excited for work and all the fun learning activities you come up with. The possibilities are endless. Thank goodness you are SSSSOOOOOO creative.
Thank you! 🙂 Such a sweet comment to find today.
I was looking for an across the board (speech, sentence structure, spelling, ect) activity for my son PJ when I happened upon your great post here. I also pinned it. Now I’m a fairly new blogger and had a Pinterest board for less than a week but..my pin of this printable went everywhere!! Thank you for providing such a quality fun opportunity to our little family!!
🙂
I’ve tried to subscribe to your blog three times but I never receive anything to confirm my email address.
What am I doing wrong? I really need some freebies!
Can you please make Level 3? My kids love these and we use them for bingo! 🙂
It’s coming soon! 🙂
I’ve tried to subscribe but it redirects me to some Active Campaign site. Please sign me up.
Active Campaign is the email company I use for my newsletters and email sign ups. Hope that helps.
I’ve tried to subscribe, but I’m not getting emails. Please sign me up!
I searched for your email address in my newsletter provider’s history. It looks like you unsubscribed from my newsletter a couple of months ago and marked the reason as “spam.” Unfortunately, this damages my reputation as a sender; it tells your email provider that it shouldn’t trust emails from me anymore. Even if I try to sign you up for my emails again, it’s unlikely that your email provider will accept them.
I was wondering what happened to my emails, that’s why I tried to re-subscribe. My Delete and Spam button are side by side on my email and I have clicked Spam by mistake many times. Sometimes I catch it and sometimes I don’t. Thank you for understanding.
Hi there. First of all, I have loved everything I have seen on your site. I loved the sight word sentence cards–such an awesome idea to have the words in context. Brilliant! I was wondering if you would consider making the border part of your sight word sentence cards editable so that I may choose the borders I need for the words as I need them to follow our kindergarten word sets. Thanks for considering.
Hi William. Thanks for your comment! About editing the border: To my knowledge, the only thing I can make editable is text. I’d have to take the security off the PDF to make the images editable and it’s against the terms of use from all the clip artists and font creators. Maybe one day, someone will think of a way to do this.
Hi, after I enter my email and name it sends me to the Active Campaign page. It’s prompts me to type my email and password when I haven’t created a password on the previous page. Can you sign me up? Please advise.
I just signed you up. Check your spam folder if you don’t see something in the next few minutes.
I have tried to subscribe to your newsletter, but I have not received a email in response with a password.
My newsletter service had you as unsubscribed from a year ago. I just went in and resubscribed you. It shows that the email has been sent to you that has the password now.
Thank you so much for sharing such amazing resources with us. In a world that gouges teachers when they are trying to find the best materials for their students, it’s encouraging and refreshing to come across someone like you who shares their talents so generously.
Thank you again. God bless you and your family as you learn together.
You are so welcome! I thoroughly enjoy creating and sharing. 🙂
I love all your creative work! How do I get to the Sight Word Games apps? I have looked in the apple store,I don’t see it! HELP!
