Analogue Clock Flashcards
Telling time on an analogue clock can be SUPER difficult for our struggling learners. I can vividly remember struggling to tell time using one, even in the fourth grade!
To teach this skill, make the clock as hands-on as possible. I recommend giving your learners a paper plate, two “hands” fastened with a brad so they can manipulate the time themselves. Once they feel comfortable creating and reading the time, integrate these free analogue clock flashcards!
In this free flashcard set, you’ll find these clock images
- telling time to the hour {12 cards}
- telling time to the half hour {12 cards}
- telling time to the quarter hour {24 cards}
- telling time by the five minutes {24 cards}
Use these flashcards in a pocket chart, on your tabletop, or lay them on the floor and have learners jump to different times. You can also have learners make the time on their own clock or write the digital time.
Did you know that flashcards don’t have to kill the love of learning? It’s true! There are many fun and engaging ways to learn and review concepts with flashcards.
Here are some creative ways to make flashcards FUN and ENGAGING {free printables included!}:

These images will become “clickable” once they go live this summer. Note: The dates are estimates. I will do my best to stick to them, but it is summer after all…
