Printable Game Boards – for ANY Subject!
Whether it’s summer break, Christmas break, or you’re stuck at home because of a contagious virus that’s taken the world by storm, you’re sure to find a game or two you can play with these free, printable game boards. {Recommended for 2-4 players.}
You may need:
1. A stack of sight word flashcards, math flashcards, a list of states & capitals, or something from your own subject of choice.
2. One die {for shorter boards} or two dice {for longer boards}.
3. A small marker or manipulative for each player.
There are MANY ways you can play.
One idea is to use a stack of flashcards. For example, if you’re playing with sight word flashcards, Player 1 picks up the top card and reads it out loud. If he/she is successful, Player 1 rolls the die and moves that many spaces on the game board. Player 2 does the same thing.
If you have players of multiple ages and skill levels, let each player have their own stack of cards. When it’s their turn, they pull a card from their own stack instead of sharing a single stack of cards.
Or you can ditch the flashcards and dice to do your own thing! You could even write your own problems in the blanks on the game board of your choice. That’s the beauty of these printable game boards.
The player who gets to “End” first is the winner. Note that on each game board, there are some special spaces that either allow players to go again, move forward, or move back a space.
The game boards come in TWO Levels!
1. FIVE shorter game boards, with 13-20 spaces. This is good for younger kids who may not have a long attention span. I recommend only using one die with these games.
2. FIVE longer game boards, with 30+ spaces. These may work better for older kids. If you choose to use dice, go with two {or even three}!
3. Psst! They also come in blackline so save on ink.
