Uppercase & lowercase Turkey Letter Sort

Use this free resource with your learners to practice recognizing and differentiating between uppercase and lowercase letters.

To prep this activity, you’ll need to cut out the two turkey bodies and various letters in their specific cases.

• Once they are all are cut out, place the turkey bodies on the work space like a tabletop or floor.
• Mix up the turkey feather letters and ask your learners to sort them on the turkey bodies as either uppercase or lowercase letters.

Challenge your learners who are ready by:
1- Using upper- and lowercase pairs in the sort. For example, A, a, E, e, G, g, etc.
2-Using upper- and lowercase letters that look alike. For example, P, p, Q, q, B, b, D, d, etc.
