I’m sharing our Valentine Cut it Out! Pack today for FREE! In it, you’ll find four different levels of cutting practice, perfect for the beginner or the advanced child: 1- straight lines, 2- curvy lines, 3- zig-zag lines, or 4- shapes. Not only will kids practice their cutting skills, but each activity has an extension activity the child can do as well such as making patterns, working puzzles or gluing to form pictures related to the theme.

My daughter (3.5 years old) likes to cut the hearts from level 1. Then we mix them up and she re-matches them, like puzzles. After that, she glues them down onto paper.
My son (5 years old) enjoys the activities in level 4-shapes. This pack has an extra page in it. After cutting out the “chocolate” candy shapes, my son glued them down onto the Valentine picture. Then we cut out the extra “Happy Valentine’s Day” heart and stapled it to the top to make a lid for his Valentine Candy! This was my teacher assistance’s {a.k.a. my mom} idea.
