FREE Fold & Read Rhyming Books

These fold & read animal rhyming books are seriously easy to prep, which is especially important if you teach multiple children. Older preschoolers and Kindergartners could even be taught to do it themselves.

fold & read animal rhyming books - printed out

Just print the animal book of choice. There are 8 from which to choose – bear, fly, whale, goat, cat, dog, snake, & fox. {I purposely chose some of the books to go with Down by the Bay by Raffi.}

The first fold is a “hot dog” fold. {fold on the horizontal line}

Next, “hamburger fold” so you have a front, middle, and back.

    I switched roles this year from a 4th grade teacher to a reading specialist, and I am working with kindergarteners for the first time. I just wanted to let you know that your website has been IMMENSELY helpful, and my students love all of the games we have played from your site 🙂 I am excited to use these rhyming books tomorrow! Thanks so much!!
