These bed posters are such an EASY way to visually help learners organize their b and d letter reversals.
While I have other resources on the blog for helping learners with this, using “bed” is a classic one I’ve used for YEARS.
These posters are a part of our larger, b and d Letter Reversals Activity Pack.

Bed Posters for b and d Letter Reversals
Letter reversals with lowercase b and d are common in preschool, Kindergarten, and even into first grade. I have a second grader who still struggles with this skill.
I’ve made her several resources for reversing these letters including one for older learners, b and d letter reversal posters, worksheets, and handwriting pages.
But no matter how much we drill or practice this skill, it’s a processing thing for her. If she doesn’t have a resource in front of her, she just doesn’t retain it. This is why I included the bed trick for b and d reversals in her spelling folder. {It’s also included in our Kindergarten spelling folder.}
Just recently, I’ve had a few readers ask if I had bed posters for b and d letter reversals with the bed trick. I didn’t, so I created some myself using simple shapes and text! 🙂
Included in the pack are FOUR different sizes for the bed trick.
1. The largest size stretches across three pages. Print them out, cut them on the lines, and glue/tape them together to create a large poster.
2. There are 2 smaller poster sizes that fit nicely at a center or small group area.
3. Also included are individual sizes that may work best on a learner’s desk.
The thing I love most about the bed posters is that it’s SO visual. Kids can picture a bed in their head to better remember how the lowercase b and d face on another.
