FREE Handwriting Worksheets
I’m excited to share some free handwriting worksheets today that take worksheets to another level. 🙂 There was not an ounce of complaining when I broke these out with my Kindergartner. {I actually couldn’t get him to stop. Ha!}
The purpose is to get kids practicing that handwriting, but with a twist. Roll and die, identify the number rolled, then write that many letters on the page. For example, if the child is using the letter a page and rolls a 3, he starts on the top left row and writes/traces 3 a’s, working his way to the right.
The first row of each page shows kids where to start with forming the letters. In the pack are also letter formation charts that kids can use as a reference.
The free handwriting packs {download links at the end of this post} includes both print AND D’Nealian styles. Keep reading to find out how you can download a free copy of our Cursive 20-Grids, too!
Insert pages into plastic sleeve protectors and use a dry erase marker to make the “game” reusable. In the downloads, you’ll find ways to make the grids more challenging and ideas for adapting it for two players.
