I know many people these days use those cute, little gift bags for Christmas. They are wonderful to have because you can re-use them and it can potentially save you time on wrapping those presents, BUT…
you can’t do this with them!
Re-Use Wrapping Paper Scraps
With all the wrapping paper scraps I had from wrapping our presents this year, the kids had fun “decorating” their Christmas trees (made with construction paper). There’s just something therapeutic about tearing paper into shreds. It kind of ranks up there with popping bubble wrap…not to mention it’s great for those fine motor muscles that help with gripping that pencil!
If you didn’t save your wrapping paper scraps, it’s not a problem. Break out this craft on Christmas day once all the presents have been opened and you have wrapping paper scraps all over your living room floor. What a fun and crafty way to clean up! 🙂
