FREE Nativity Pattern Block Mats

Since my kiddos had so much fun with our Thanksgiving Pattern Block Mats, I decided to make them some Nativity Pattern Block Mats to celebrate Christmas {download link found at the end of this post.}

I love the commercial side of Christmas just as much as anyone else. The lights. The songs. The smells and sounds. But I do not ever want that part to overshadow the reason we celebrate Christmas in the first place…the Christ Child’s birth. That’s one reason I created our Nativity Pre-K/K Pack two years ago.

 

Nativity Pattern Block Mats

This year, the kids helped me design some Nativity Pattern Block Mats, created to fit with these pattern blocks. Today, I’m sharing them for free. In this pack, are 6 mats that correspond with the Nativity story, found in Luke 2 and Matthew 1-2.

3. shepherd mat
4. star mat
5. camel mat
6. wiseman man

Here is the example of the baby Jesus mat:

 

And just like we did with our Thanksgiving Mats, we extended the learning by using our Giant Magnetic Pattern Blocks

 

and we graphed and tallied with our Graph & Tally Pack.
