Did you know that teaching letter formation can be made easier for learners if you group letters together based on their first stroke? For example, some letters are formed first by drawing a straight line down. Teaching letters in their groups can really help beginning or struggling writers who often have a hard time picturing what the letters look like as they write.
This is true of the lowercase letters AND uppercase letters. And that’s exactly why you’ll find letter activities in a specific order in our Letter Trace App.
Uppercase Handwriting Pages
Just like our lowercase Lowercase c and Line Down Trick and Small Line Down Trick, these uppercase handwriting pages include three kinds of simple pages:
1- larger pages with dotted lines to finish the letters {seen above}, 2- larger pages without dotted lines to finish the letters, and
3- lined pages to practice the letters {seen above}.
THREE GROUPS of letters are featured, based on the first stroke you use when writing the letters:
1- Start with a straight line down – This includes F, E, D, P, B, R, K, H, L, N, M, U, T, I, & J
2- Start by curving around – This includes C, G, O, & Q
3- Start by slide down the diagonal line – This includes V, W, X, & Y
While our Letter Trace App includes ALL uppercase {and lowercase} letters, these pages do not include A, S, or Z.
