Third Grade Sight Word Sentence Cards
*This post contains affiliate links.
The sight words in this list come directly from my level 5 printable sight word lists and include 3rd Grade Dolch words and a few select words from Fry’s second 100 high frequency words.

You can download all my printable sight word lists for free {see an example in the picture above}.

You can hole punch the cards and put them in a clip ring. These work great at a center or use them as “flash cards” for sight word practice.

Learners can practice spelling the sight words with things like magnetic letters, letter stamps, Wikki Stix, playdough, or letter tiles to add a hands-on component.

Learners can practice reading with fluency as they read the sentence featuring each sight word.

Don’t see the words you want in level 5? Feel free to mix and match the words from all five levels!

Becky, I just love your sight word cards and want to thank you for making them available to use with my students. I printed off the List E this morning and noticed a small mistake on one of your cards. There is a word missing in the sentence for “full.” I would really appreciate it if you could correct this so I could print it off again. Thanks for everything that you do to make our jobs just a little bit easier.
It’s been fixed. 🙂 Thanks for letting me know.
I am unable to find the freebies for January. Please help. Thank you.
Sorry freebies password for January. It has been a long day. LOL
Thank you sooooo much! I’ve probably already mentioned this but I LOVE these cards so much. My son is dyslexic and my daughter has tendencies but we haven’t had her tested yet. With the help of these cards, she knows almost all the words in the first 3 sets. (Even when I cover the pictures since I caught her going by the pictures instead of the words. 🙂 ) At Kindergarten conferences last week, the teacher was amazed that she knew almost all the sight words for the whole year already. I can not express how much less stressful this year has been than the year when my son was trying to learn his Kindergarten sight words. I love that they are free for subscribers and I don’t want you to change that but you could probably put the whole set on your Teachers Pay Teachers site and charge for them there. They are truly one of the best resources I’ve found anywhere.
This is one of the most meaningful comments I’ve ever received! How exciting to see your daughter soar like that with her words! Yes, I have plans to get them on my TpT (a beefed-up version), but it’s a huge task and I’ve been avoiding it a little. You’ve lit my fire, though. 🙂
I love all of these and thank you so much for creating such a terrific freebie! 🙂 I have a quick question and though I could search, match the words and find the answer, I know you will know right away so I thought I would ask. Are ALL of Fry’s first and second 100 included in your lists? Thanks in advance!
Sorry, I just saw this comment! No, I don’t have all of Fry’s sight words on this free version.
I love these cards and am wondering if you are going to release more then just the 5 levels we love them but have had a few of our kids master these ones and we are hoping for the next couple levels
