Our sight word rhyming card game has been such hit with my 1st grader, so I created some companion sight word worksheets using the same words. These are a great way to follow up with the rhyming game for some NO PREP independent work!

Sight Word Worksheets – Match the Rhyming Words
In this pack of sight word worksheets are four different matching pages loosely based off of the Dolch/Fry’s sight word lists: PP/P (Kindergarten), 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade.
I usually do not usually post things by grade level for the very reason that a child may be in Kindergarten and ready for the 1st grade list (or in 3rd grade and ready for the 2nd grade list). Just take a peek at the words and if you feel your child/student is ready, go for it! Of course, playing the sight word rhyming game with your child/student will help you gauge their readiness.
One of the best parts about these pages is that they are NO PREP. The child just grabs a pair of scissors, some glue, and he’s ready to go! Gotta love NO PREP when you’re working with multiple students. 🙂

I have a 6 year old in my class who is learning to speak English. She is from Algeria and is now in Australia. I am loving all the ideas for rhyming words and sight words to help her on her journey. Thank you so much!
