Reading the Alphabet Letter W
This week’s lesson features letter W and the sight word we. It also features a letter W emergent reader {sample below}.
Last week was quite crazy at our house {the Norovirus hit}, so we did not get to all the activities.
Here are a few photos of what we were able to do:
He really likes getting a new book! It’s fun to watch him jump up and down when I show it to him for the first time.
He traced his poke page this week instead of poking it.
This week, I set up several patterns {with an incorrect card in it}
He used his Angry Bird friends to find the incorrect card and change it.
I am amazed at how much this wiggle worm likes to color. This time, he asked me to color with him. I colored one of the books and he responded with, “Good job, mommy. You colored so nicely.”
We also revisited the Initial Sound Game” Which Doesn’t Belong?”, which focuses on phonemic awareness skills. He has become almost independent with this game!

I downloaded this lesson three times but it would not open.
Do you have a way to unzip files? If so, maybe try to right click the download link and save directly to your computer to see if that works.
Hi!! I have downloaded all of you Reading the alphabet packs but I am unable to download #24 – it keeps giving me an error message; I have tried many times now. Thanks for helping!! Awesome resources. Thank you!!
My site was having some trouble this weekend. You might try again. It should work for you. 🙂
