FREE Printable Learning Websites List for Kids

By thisreadingmama 2 Comments

One of the independent activities my kids do almost every day of homeschooling is learning activities on the computer or iPad {check out my educational apps}. To truly help my kids be independent with computer time, I created a printable learning websites list for them to keep by the computer.

FREE Printable Learning Websites List for Kids

I used this same exact idea when I taught in the classroom, but it has been a while since I have actually posted a learning website list at home.

The idea is not only to have a list of learning websites my kids can visit, but to provide a printable website list they can visually see by the computer. This means, they can type the URL in themselves, making them even more independent!

My Printable Learning Websites List

I am including the link to the FREE websites listed plus an approximate age level of the site. Please note that I am not affiliated with any of these websites.

1. STARFALL – Activities for phonics, reading, & math. I did purchase the home membership because it’s worth it, in my opinion for Pre-K through 1st grade.

2. ABCYA – Games and activities for phonics, math, science, and more! {K-5}

3. PBS KIDS – Kids get to interact, play learning games, and watch videos with their favorite PBS characters. {Pre-K through 3rd}

4. PEEP AND THE BIG WIDE WORLD – Games and videos for science and math with the cute characters of Peep and the Big Wide World {Pre-K through K}

Award Winning Reading Program

5. FUNBRAIN – Loads of games for all kinds of learning skills. {K-5}

6. STORYLINE ONLINE – Pick and book and be read to by a famous person. I think the selection of books is pretty good {a few of them are included in my comprehension book list} and my kids like the picture shows that go with them. {Pre-K through 2nd grade}

7. NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC KIDS – Explore all kinds of places and animals with games and videos. {K-5th}

8. COOL MATH 4 KIDS – Math games that don’t feel like math games. I have a hard time getting my kids off this one! {K-5th}
