Print and Play Phonics Games – makes differentiation a BREEZE!

By thisreadingmama 2 Comments

Are you a classroom teacher or teaching multiple children at home? Then you know that teaching phonics can be challenging.

In my first grade class, I can remember having children learning letter sounds and kids who were reading on a third grade level {and everything in between}. How was I supposed to teach phonics to all of these kids…and on their level? Differentiation was always a challenge, for sure!

Just Print and Play Phonics Games BUNDLE - This Reading Mama

If you’re teaching multiple kids at home or in the classroom at multiple developmental levels, you need NO PREP and PREDICTABLE ACTIVITIES that are effective in teaching phonics. You need something that makes DIFFERENTIATION a BREEZE!

That’s why I’m excited to share…

Print and Play Phonics Games

You can download the older version of many of these games for free in our 6-week Print & Play series. But this bundle pack has been changed, updated, and expanded to make them easier to play!

As you probably know, I’m a HUGE fan of teaching phonics and spelling by patterns. That’s exactly what the activities in this Print and Play Phonics Games Pack are designed to do.

There are over 500 pages of games included based on these phonics patterns:

  • beginning consonant sounds
  • ending consonant sounds
  • CVC short vowel words
  • blends and digraphs
  • CCVC/CVCC short vowel words
  • welded sounds {or “glued” sounds}*
  • consonant clusters*
  • similar ending sounds {such as -ch/-tch or -ck/-ke}*
  • r-influence vowels – 2 levels
  • CVCe words
  • long vowel teams
  • diphthongs
  • W-controlled and L-controlled vowels*
  • extra phonics review games sprinkled throughout*

*These phonics games can only be found in the bundle pack.

If you teach kids who are developmentally between Pre-K and 2nd grade, this pack is the perfect fit for you!

I am searching for something I found on my phone and wanted to order but can’t find now! Can you help me? It was a cut apart work. Each short vowel word had three letter and part of the picture. The child cut them apart and glued them together and they got the picture and the word. I am almost certain it was yours since I was on your site! Thanks in advance!
