More Magic e Words Freebies

By thisreadingmama 2 Comments

Today, I’m sharing some fun pages for teaching Magic e words. You may have seen the white crayon trick where you can color or paint over it to “magically” reveal a hidden word {see my sight word example}. Well, we’re doing that with “magic e” today!

If you’re looking for even more silent e/magic e activities for your learners, be sure to check out my Silent e Words resource page!

Magic e Words Freebies

The idea is very simple and fun. All you need is a white crayon, markers, scissors, & glue to have fun with magic e words!

First, learners read the short vowel words on the page.

Then, they take their white crayon and write and “e” in each blank.

Next, learners color over their “e” to reveal the magic e words! {Cool!}

Lastly, learners read the magic e words created and glue down the matching pictures.

If you have learners who are more on the artistic side, they might enjoy these extra magic e word freebies I’ve included. Learners reveal the magic e words, then draw a picture to match as they “set the stage.”
