Letter Sound Picture Cards
When I saw this fun clip art, I just KNEW I had to create something with it! I love that the letters contain pictures for each letter inside of them. In the case of some letters, the letter is formed by the object. For example, A is an alligator opening his mouth, and M is a mountain. So, so cute and fun for practicing letters and their sounds!
Use these FREE cards to work on letters and letter sounds with your little learners.
To prep them, print the cards on cardstock and laminate. Cut them apart on the horizontal line to create half-page alphabet cards. Another option is to hole-punch the top left corner and connect the pages to a ½-inch ring to make a flip book. You can use page 3 in the file as a cover for the flip book.

Learners touch each dot above the letter as they either focus on the letter sound as in “/a/ – /a/ alligator” and “/a/ – /a/ apple” OR learners can focus on saying the letter names such as “a, a, alligator” and “a, a, apple.”
A card is included for every letter of the alphabet. All vowel sounds are the short vowel sounds.
