Why Numbers 1-120 on a Hundred Board?
Why numbers 1-120 on a hundreds board? I can vividly remember as a child counting to 100 correctly, then “counting” 200, 300, 400, and so on. Hundreds boards all the way through 120 help kids understand that the same number patterns found in the numbers 1-100 also apply to numbers after 100.
Hundred Board Puzzles
Five color puzzles can be found in this pack. Each piece of the puzzle is a different color with a think line surrounding it. Print these on white cardstock, laminate, and cut them out on the thicker lines.
These same five hundreds puzzles are also included in blackline. I recommend that you copy each one onto different colors of cardstock so they’re easy to differentiate from each other.
Learners use the pieces to assemble the hundreds board back together again.
I’ve also included a DIY Hundreds Board Puzzle in the PDF. You can copy this board as many times as you want on different colors of cardstock, and cut it in any way you want to create your own puzzles. This way, you can custom create puzzles for any of your learners. Woohoo!
