This Reading Mama

Exploring PBSKids.org

By thisreadingmama 1 Comment

It’s no secret that pbskids.org is a great learning site that our kids can spend some time on this summer.  I mean, the games are amazing and FUN!  The problem?  How do you know which games to have your child play?  Let’s say your child needs to work on letter recognition or non-standard measurement.  How do you know which learning games to have your child play?  There’s SO much on their site.  Where do you begin?!?

Well, I’ve spent a few hours on their site exploring.  My goal was to amaze you (ha!) by breaking down the learning objectives on their games into content areas.  I got about 4 hours into it when I discovered a “secret” button (No, it’s not really a secret.  It’s actually quite obvious!).  They’ve already done all of the work.  And it’s nothing short of A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!

Happy clicking!
