FREE Alphabet Phonics Cube Inserts
If you’ve been around my blog very long, you know that I love to create phonics printables. From the alphabet all the way to learning how to break apart syllables, phonics is definitely a passion of mine…and it all starts with the ABC’s!
That’s why when I discovered a new clip artist over at Teacher’s Pay Teachers, I jumped on the chance to make some fun alphabet phonics inserts for our new cubes. {Yes, I now own Carson Dellosa’s Cubes & the Photo Stacking Blocks.}
These free alphabet cube inserts have TWO levels of play.
Level 1: Alphabet Phonics Learning – The child rolls the cube, identifies the letter and names all the pictures that start with that letter.
Level 2: Alphabet Phonics Practice – Using the level 2 inserts, the child rolls two cubes and tries to match the letter to the picture that begins with that letter. To make this work, I cut out 6 different letters and put them in the first cube. In the second cube, I cut out 1 picture per letter {6 total} and put them in the other cube. Both cubes are rolled and the child tells if the picture starts or doesn’t start with that letter.

Hi,
Do you print these on cardstock or standard paper? Thank you.
I use cardstock.
Do you have any phonic games using the photo cubes for grades pre-K-2?
