Words Their Way Supplement Books {Giveaway}

By thisreadingmama 68 Comments

In honor of my series, Teaching Spelling Through Word Study, I have another word study giveaway for you that starts today!  This week, my giveaway comes from Words Their Way.  I have a special connection with Words Their Way because one of the co-authors of the book was my mentor while earning my M.Ed. in Elementary Reading.  She’s actually the person who helped me fall in love with the word study approach.

She has offered up two WTW supplement books as giveaways this week.  So really, there’s TWO giveaways here!

Letter and Picture Sorts for Emergent Spellers (Click on link to read more about this product and here for an explanation of this spelling stage)

OR

Word Sorts for Letter Name-Alphabetic Spellers (Click on link to read more about this product and here for an explanation of this spelling stage)

One winner will be chosen for each WTW product.  Leaving a comment on this blog post is mandatory.  Please state in your comment which book you’d like to win.  If you don’t have a preference and would like to win either one, please post that.

This giveaway ends Friday night, October 26th.  The winners (one winner for each product) will be announced on my blog on Saturday, October 27th.  Make sure and read the Terms and Conditions before you enter via Rafflecopter!

    I used words their way eight years ago when I was teaching 8th grade ELA in Virginia. Now I’m at home with my two little ones and I know that word study is the way to go with my own. I would prefer the emergent readers book.

    We have a new parent coop bilingual preschool on the island Isla Mujeres, Mexico, Liberty School, and are in great need of any resources available. Our model includes using sorts in both languages for our beginning readers. Professional development for our teachers is needed as well if you ever want to plan a vacation to the island. 🙂
