As I posted with my June Writing Prompts, I was amazed to find out that if kids don’t keep their brains active during the summer months, they can lose up to 60% of what they learned from the school year!
So, I’m going to spend each Monday of this summer posting sight word activities and games that you can do with your child to review and reinforce the sight words he/she has learned. These are the same ones we are doing this summer as well!
My goal is that each game will be super FUN and super EASY to implement; and won’t require much from your wallet.
I will be housing each link here so you can easily follow along:
- Week 1: Sight Word Racing
- Week 2: Chalk it Up with Sight Words
- Week 3: Secret Sight Word Game
- Week 4: I Spy- Sight Word Edition
- Week 5: Red, White and Blue Sight Words {free printable}
- Week 6: Sight Word Cootie Catchers
- Week 7: Paper Airplane Sight Word Fun
- Week 8: Word-Wac-Woe {free printable}
- Week 9: Sight Word Guess Who? {free printable}
