Struggling Reader Giveaway

By thisreadingmama 10 Comments

This giveaway is happening quite on accident! 🙂  If you’ve been following along, you know the story.  To make a long story short, I am now the proud owner of two copies of What Really Matters for Struggling Readers by Richard Allington all because of my pregnant and forgetful brain.  Instead of keeping both, I’ve decided to share one copy–the 3rd edition!

This book is written with a school teacher in mind, but many of the tips and tricks can also be applied to homeschoolers as well.  I’ve primarily used this book in my series on Struggling Readers, so if you’ve liked what you’ve seen of it so far, go ahead and enter the giveaway!  Trust me…there are many more gems in the book!

Here’s the scoop:

Everyone who SUBSCRIBES to my blog & COMMENTS on this post by Wednesday, September 7 will be entered to win!  If you don’t comment, you cannot be entered for the giveaway.

You can subscribe several ways:

  • Facebook (“Like” my page)
  • Twitter
  • RSS Feed
  • Email

One more way you can be entered for the giveaway: tell about it on your awesome blog.  Just make sure to leave a comment on this post.

The winner will be announced on Friday, September 9.

Happy subscribing!

I’ll subscribe now! My boys aren’t struggling yet, but they’re not taking off like I’d hoped for yet either.

I follow you on Twitter and like you on Facebook. I have been following your site for many months now. I think your approach to helping struggling readers is amazing. My blog and my website Two2Read.com and Two2Readblog.com are all about helping give parents tools to help their kids learn to read. I am a big fan! Would love to own this book.
