Print and Play Rhyming Games

The ability to hear and make rhymes is such an important part of learning to read and spell. That’s why I thought it would be fun to create some rhyming games in the Print & Play style.

They’re no prep {just grab a die and some counters}, require no colored ink, and can be played solo OR with a partner. Add them to a literacy center or use them as an, “I’m done” kind of activity.

You’ll find 6 different rhyming games in this download. I tried to make the pictures simple, but I’ve included a rhyming word picture/answer key, just in case you need it.

There are three games that ask the learner to roll a die and tell if the two pictures rhyme (happy face for yes/sad face for no). The bees race to “fly” the bees to their hives.

Thank you so very much for making these and sharing them. Unfortunately, I can’t download the freebie for rhyming. When I click that button it just opens up the same green button on another page. Is this happening for anyone else as well? Thank you!
