No Prep Number Bond Games
These no prep games are easy to play. Learners roll one die, solve one of the problems associated with the number they roll, and cover only one of the answers on the board. {Most answers are on the game board twice.} The goal is to get five in a row on the game board…either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
The number bond games included in this free pack are:
- Number Bonds 0-5
- Number Bonds for Making 10
- Number Bonds for Numbers 6-10 (2 boards)
- Number Bonds for Number 10-15 (2 boards)
- Number Bonds for Numbers 16-20 (2 boards)
- Number Bonds for Numbers 0-10 (2 boards)
- Number Bonds for Numbers 11-20 (2 boards)
- EDITABLE Number Bonds Board (type in your own numbers!)
Easy Tip: If you want to make the no prep math games reusable, slip them into a dry erase pocket and use dry erase marker or cover with counters. {The example in the image above is with our addition games.}

I printed off a “roll it, find it, cover it” number bond game. It says use a die but for numbers bigger than 5, you have to use 2 dice. So, I printed off the board that goes up to 10 which will require 2 dice for some rolls but only 1 dice for others. This doesn’t seem to make sense. Am I missing something?
Hi Chris, you should only need 1 die for all the games. Roll the 1 die. Find one of the numbers you rolled on the left side of the page (they’re listed twice). Figure out the missing number in the number bond. Find the missing number on the right side of the board and cover it. So, you’re not trying to roll the missing number; you’re trying to roll and match what you rolled to the die patterns found on the left side of the page. Does that make sense?
