This is the time of year when we celebrate Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God who, though He had never sinned, took on our sin, died in our place, AND defeated death and the grave by being raised to life! Hallelujah!

What is Copywork?

The purpose of copywork is to create a “perfect copy”, with neat handwriting, correct capitalization, punctuation, spacing, and spelling. {All good things, right?} To accomplish this, you pick a passage from a well-written text and asks your child to copy it, word-for-word.

This exposes your child to great literature plus gives them practice with the mechanics of writing. I honestly can’t think of any greater literature than the Bible, can you? That’s why I’m excited to share my Easter copywork pages using Scripture verses and passages about Jesus’s death and resurrection!
