How to Play the CVC Review Game:

Play is similar to the classic game, “Chutes and Ladders.”

• All players (for 2-4 players) begin on “Start” at the bottom left of the board.

• On their turn, the player rolls a die then moves their object that many spaces on the gameboard. {Each space is numberd on the board so players will know which way to go.}
• Once a player lands on a space, they read the word. So, in the CVC Review Game below, the learner would read “rag.”

• If a player lands on a ladder, they should “climb up” the gameboard and read the word in that space.
• If a player lands on a slide, they should “slide down” the gameboard and read the word.
• The player who gets to the star at the top (“End”) first is the winner.
