FREE Multiplication Clip Cards
My third grader has mastered nearly all of her multiplication facts. Yay! {Thank you, Times Tales.} But I’m always looking for fun and engaging ways to practice them with her. I thought these simple multiplication clip cards would do the trick.
The multiplication clip cards in this free set include two levels of learning. Instead of just the math facts written out for them to solve, they have a visual times chart. There are four possible answers on each card, but only one is correct. Learners should clip the correct one with a peg or clothespin.
Level 1 includes 10×10 multiplication grids. Learners must look at the multiplication chart and figure out which number goes in the place where the letter is. Uppercase letters A-Z are included in this set. {You can see a sample above.}
Level 2 includes 12×12 multiplication grids. They follow the same directions for each multiplication clip card, looking at the chart to figure out which number goes in the place where the letter is. Lowercase letters a-z are included in this set. {Check out the sample above.}
The cards come with light colors to make it easier to read the small grids. If you don’t want them in color, printing them in gray scale or only in black ink should do the trick.
Got any kids who struggling with multiplication?
Times Tales is a multi-sensory tool that I’ve used with ALL my kiddos!
Please note: I did not include every single multiplication fact with these cards. Because x1, x2, x5, and x10 are easier for most learners, I mainly focused on x3, x4, x6, x7, x8, x9, x11, and x12.
