Today, I’m sharing the Letter G Pack from Learning the Alphabet, hands-on printables designed for teaching kids upper and lowercase letters, letter sounds, and numbers 1-10.
You can see all the FREE packs we’ve posted so far here. And if you’re new to Learning the Alphabet, you can read our introductory post, which shows each activity and how you can use it with your child/student.

Letter G Pack
Featured in this letter G pack are 6 Gg words: gift, girl, guitar, goat, gate, and golf. The activities included are intended to be used in hands-on ways. This is because most kids learning the alphabet, whether young {ages 2/3/4} or older {ages 5/6/7} enjoy hands-on activities.
While some of the activities can be print and go, there aren’t a ton that are, but I think you’ll find it’s worth your prep time.
My daughter, an extremely active and curious {almost 3 year old}, enjoys the activities and asks me to print them and do them with her. My four-year old daughter also asks to do them on top of Reading the Alphabet, which we are slowly working through.
Although I am not taking as many photos and posting them here, I have been sharing a few on Instagram and plan on sharing more there {I’m using the hashtag #learningthealphabet.}
Letter G Books
Although we do not stick to only one particular letter a week in our reading, it’s nice to sneak in a few books that relate to the letter you are working on. These are our Letter G recommendations.
Enjoy teaching!
