I remember having a special set of markers as a kid with an invisible marker included in the pack. I wrote an invisible message and used the other markers to color on top and my secret message appeared! I had looked and looked for something like this to use with our schoolwork to no avail…until I came upon it at one of my favorite stores in the world- Target!
I quickly bought all of them off the shelf. (Yes, I know, I’m a hoarder…really, I don’t know many teachers who aren’t.) It only took a few days for ALuv to discover my stash and ask if he could write with them. He had the best time.
On my latest trip to Target, I noticed they had their other Crayola sets, like this one:
on clearance ($3.88 was the price, I think). I bought a few more sets to go in stockings for Christmas this year. Hehe.
I’m very excited to use these markers with NJoy. I have been working behind the scenes on a new curriculum for him (to be launched mid to end of August). I’m thinking I’ll use these markers to unveil his new letter of the week or his new sight word…oh, I’m so excited just thinking about it! It takes me back to being a kid myself.
I shared this post at Moments to Remember.

White crayon should work as well. It works really well with ater color paint as an alternate option.
I like! I’ve never heard that before! Thanks for sharing!!
