12 Preschool Songs Your Kids will LOVE

By thisreadingmama 3 Comments

Singing is a BIG part of our day. While we don’t have a daily “music time” per say, we do integrate song into our daily routine. We even integrate singing into our read aloud time when we can. I love how music supports pre-readers with rhyming and phonemic awareness, not to mention a bunch of other skills. Today, I’m sharing some preschool songs that your kids will love…and you will, too!

Super Simple Learning

About 3 years ago, we discovered Super Simple Learning on YouTube. My kids begged for these videos daily and we simply fell in love. These preschool songs quickly made it into our every day rotation of songs. If you subscribe to channels on YouTube and you have young children, Super Simple Learning is a must. Seriously.

So when Super Simple Learning contacted me and asked if we’d review their newest DVD, Super Simple Songs Animals, I simply couldn’t turn it down. No way!

Preschool Songs Your Kids will LOVE

And when I say “love”, I really do mean it. Here are a few things we love about these preschool songs.

Super Simple Learning videos are high quality

Their songs are high quality {music, vocals, & graphics}. These songs are NOT the kind that make you want to bang your head against a wall when they get stuck in your head. Many of the songs are sung to familiar songs such as Row, Row, Row You’re Boat or Hickory, Dickory Dock. I love that some of the songs even tell a “story” and kids can predict what they think will happen next.

Many of their songs encourage movement. A HUGE plus any day, but especially a rainy day when your kids are about to drive you batty {I’ve just heard from other moms that this can happen. It’s never happened at our house…ahem.}

Their songs feature LOTS of learning experiences including rhyming, emotions, opposites, colors, animals/noises, counting, and lots of other vocabulary. One of my daughter’s favorite songs on the DVD is My Teddy Bear. She likes to grab her own teddy bear and point to and sing the parts of her teddy bear.

Super Simple Learning's Free Printables

They have FREE printables to extend the learning! Yes, FREE. Subscribe to their resource center and you have access to tons of freebies, not to mention the awesome tips on how to use music with your kids. What a valuable resource!

You may be wondering what songs are included on this DVD. Here’s a list of all the titles. Our favorite? Probably Let’s Go to the Zoo or Hickory Dickory…Crash! 🙂

    Same for us. My almost 4 yr old has listened to them since before his first birthday. They are wonderful! We have all the cd’s and he plays the songs on his tablet often. Wonderful songs and videos!
