How does literacy integrate well with the scientific process?  Hop on over to Steve Spangler’s Making Science Fun!*  I’m so excited to be a guest writer today about rocks and minerals.  You’ll also find some rock and mineral FREEBIES in the post!

*Because of a scheduling conflict, my guest post will go live tomorrow, November 16th. 🙂

If you’re new to This Reading Mama, WELCOME!  I enjoy integrating literacy into all our homeschool lessons.  I also love to make and share FREE printables, including my PreK reading curriculum called Reading the Alphabet and Phonics by The Book, a Bible-based curriculum for early readers (K/1st grade).

Thanks! Actually for my dd, I am looking at this as science making literature fun 🙂 She loves science, rocks, etc. and reads above grade level, but thinks it is boring.
