HearthSong Folding Lap Desk {Review and Giveaway} | This Reading Mama

Do your kids like to do schoolwork all over the place?  Mine do.  Even though we have a designated schoolroom in our house, there are those times during the daily school routine that an activity works best on the floor or outside or in the car…you get the point. 🙂

That’s why I love having our HearthSong Folding Lap Desks.  We have had much use out of them and they are still going strong. My three oldest kids each received one of these for Christmas this past year- one of each color available.  I wrote their names on each one with a Sharpie and we use the all.the.time.

We use them for all sorts of things {including snack time}.

We would use them to switch up school locations and sit in the family room.

Would be great to use on days we work outside. When we need a change of scenery.

She likes to sit on the bed, the floor, anywhere but her desk and do work so this would sure help.

Oh I’ve been wanting a lap desk but we don’t have space to store it – except these would be PERFECT because they fold! My kids would love using this in our school area as well as the living room.

We have a few lap desks but mine don’t fold up and are always in the way so this would be perfect on saving room. We normally use them for snacks & school work while watching a documentary.

I would use it for math time. We’re down on the floor with cuisinaire rods, and then when we do things on paper it would be so nice to have lap desks!

My daughter would love to use one of these to draw while sitting on the couch. The baby steals her crayons when she’s at the little table and she has to sit on her knees at the kitchen table.

My girls would love these. We bought and currently live in a house that is a total remodel = total mess. I also like that they could be comfy and portable to different areas of the house, vacations, etc.
