I was going to wait to post this one, but Easter is coming and the printable is ready, so here you go! I’ve been wrestling the past couple of days on how I can integrate some literacy into an Easter egg hunt and I think I figured it out! I can’t wait to try this with my three youngins at home next week! 🙂
It’s an Easter Egg Sequence Hunt!!
On the download are three different levels for integrating some literacy into an egg hunt:
Sequence the Letters
Sequence the Words
and Sequence the Sentences.
To explain a little further: if you use the same letters, words, and sentences as I do, only need 6 eggs are needed for the Letter and Word Sequencing and 5 eggs for the Sentence level. I am, however, going to add one more egg to each person’s hunting with candy hidden inside as a surprise! Also, all of ALuv’s eggs be blue, all of NJoy’s will be yellow, and all of MBug’s will be pink; since the hunt will be going on at the same time. If only one child is participating, color coding the eggs wouldn’t be necessary.
Other directions are on the download. (You can click on any of the pictures to download.) And stay tuned, because I have another egg idea up my sleeve for SIGHT WORDS. I’ll post about it early next week.

I LOVE it as always Becky! We are already on our spring break but I have pinned it onto my Pinterest Board for next school year. I will be planning April next month for our upcoming school year so it is perfect timing for me. Have a great Easter!
Enjoy your spring break! Don’t think we’re going to have one this year as we just had a break. 🙂
