Welcome back This Reading Mama’s podcast! We’re thankful you’re joining us as we’ve been exploring the covenants of the Bible.

Today, we’re talking about The New Covenant. This is an unconditional and eternal covenant made with Israel. It is first introduced in Jeremiah 31:31-34. The good news with this covenant is that Gentiles are partakers of this covenant, as we have been grafted in through the blood of Jesus. Hallelujah!

Understanding these covenants helps us all to not only see how God’s Word is connected as one Story, but it also allows us to see the attributes of God. In these covenants, we see His faithfulness, goodness, love, righteousness, and justice and how they all fit perfectly together.

Lastly, these covenants help us to see how God wants a relationship with you and me. He doesn’t need us, but that’s what makes His love towards us even more significant!
