(Anyone who’s reading these comments – please keep my friend in your prayers; her husband and her father died a day apart, on Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day, and she’s left with a slew of medical bills and an almost-minimum-wage job.)

Umm… I looked through all the above comments and loved so many of them. My first thought was selfish, “how wonderful it would be to have a little stash that I don’t have to be accountable to anyone for spending.” But then I thought of a little get away for the Mr and me, or simply giving it to friends who are tapped dry because of recently completing a foreign adoption. I promise, however, to do something grand! Thanks for the chance.
