Bible Alphabet Cards & Chart
These free cards mix teaching the alphabet with learning Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation! Every card features the letter, a picture {with the word}, and a Scripture reference.
For example, Aa is for animals. The Scripture reference takes you to Genesis 1:20-25 where God creates the animals. Another example: Vv is for vine, with the Scripture reference as John 15:1-5 where Jesus says He is the Vine that we are to abide in.
Not only will you find alphabet cards, but the most common h-digraphs are also included in this free printable. This includes ch, sh, th, and wh.
Note: The Bible alphabet cards and chart come in color AND in blackline.
You’ll find half-page cards, which are perfect to hang on the wall. You can also hole-punch them at the top left, then hook them to a metal ring.
You’ll also find individual cards you can cut apart so learners can match the letter to the picture featuring the sound of the letter. You could even play a simple game of memory match when your learners are ready.
Lastly, you’ll find an alphabet chart, which includes all the letters and the four h-digraphs. This is a great resource to place in a writing notebook, an alphabet notebook, or at a learner’s work area as a reference for letters and their sounds.
