4 Seasons Flip Book {2 FREE Levels}

By thisreadingmama 13 Comments

One of the fun and hands-on activities from my Seasons K-2 Unit Study is this 4 Seasons Flip Book. Actually, there are two seasons flip books included: one that’s more picture-based with simple language and one goes a little more in-depth.

You can get both season flip books in one quick download today. Just click on the teal download button towards the END of this post.

4 Seasons Flip Book

The flip book is not only a great learning tool, it’s fun for students to put together themselves.

coloring the pages of the 4 seasons flip book

First, students can color the pages as they read over the phrases for each season. The picture-based version has an “I Can…” and “I Wear…” page for each season. The more in-depth version focuses on features from each season, as you’ll see in the following pictures.

After coloring {coloring can be optional, too}, students cut only on the dotted lines

Lastly, glue the pages on the inside of the flip book “cover”, which is also included in the download.

    Love this! For some reason though (I tried 2 printers, the vertical dotted lines are printing. I managed to make it work, but not sure why that is…

      Try right-clicking on the teal download button and selecting “Save link as…” then save it to your computer. Try to print from that PDF. Usually that fixes the issue.

    Is this pack appropriate for the southern hemisphere or only for the north.

      It should work for both, as it doesn’t include any holidays. It only includes the characteristics of each season. If you live near the equator, it might not apply as well, though. 🙂
