Free 2D and 3D Shapes Assessment Pages
These pages can be used a simple coloring activity while working on your shape unit or you can use them as assessment pages for both 2D and 3D shapes. Either way, they are simple to use and require little to no prep!
Each of the shape assessments comes with a clue sheet. These clues can be cut out and shuffled before you read them aloud. Or to save on prep time, you can just read them in the order they are presented. {They are in a different order than the student pages.} The answer to each set of clues is on the bottom of each section.
After you read the entire clue, learners use their crayons to color in the shape on their listen and color page.
The only prep you may need to do is asking learners to pull the colors they need. Don’t worry though because the colors needed are just the basic colors you find in a crayon pack, not anything strange like magenta.
It’s totally optional, but you may also want a set of pattern blocks or 3D shapes for learners to reference, either by sight or by touching.
