This week, we had some fun cutting practice fun with our Spring Cut it Out! Pack. You will find the free download link at the end of this post. Included in the pack are four levels of cutting: 1- straight lines, 2- curvy lines, 3- zig-zags, and 4- shapes. What a fun way to practice cutting and some fine motor skills! I’m excited to share that MBug (3. 5 years old) has “graduated” to the curvy lines (level 2) and enjoyed once again cutting apart each picture with her Mappy spring scissors (both my preschoolers have a pair- I highly recommend these!),

matching pictures like puzzles

matching them together like puzzles,

gluing down matching pieces

and gluing them down after she had matched them up. Please note that I print off these packs onto card stock paper to make it easier to cut them out.

cut out shapes, level 4

NJoy (age 5.5) worked on the shapes level (4). First, I cut apart the shapes page to make it easier to him to cut out each shape,

glue down shapes to make a flower picture

and then once they are all cut out, he glues them down into the picture.
