Short Vowel Phonics Pages – Read, Spell, Draw

I have TONS of printable phonics activities on the blog, but these are different for several reasons:

1. They are clip art-free. This means that these pages may better appeal to older, struggling readers.

2. They require learners to READ and then SPELL the word. {Encourage learners to try and write the word from memory after reading it instead of just copying it.}

3. They let learners who are more artistic in nature shine because they ask learners to DRAW the picture.

4. They are offered in TWO DIFFERENT fonts with differentiated handwriting lines.

The first set in the pack may appeal more to younger learners with the print font and dotted handwriting lines.

The second set in the pack may appeal more to older, struggling learners. It has a typewriter font and single handwriting lines.
