While we did manage to squeeze in 1.5 days of schoolwork this week, we were able to spend some quality time with the family.
First, DADDY CAME HOME from his mission trip with the high schoolers! ALuv was so excited that he decided we should decorate all over the house with streamers. 🙂
I snuck in some writing and spelling (hehe) through all the decorating and we created this Welcome Home “sign” with streamers and sticky notes for his arrival.
My sister came in town with her 3 kiddos AND my grandmother was here! Yes, this is THE Mama Jean. She inspired me to write my Christian Nursery Rhymes as well as the Phonics by the Book Curriculum. You can view my nursery rhymes and curriculum HERE…it’s all FREE to download.
I am named after my grandmother and Nsis is, too; so my mom got a shot of all three of us. I wouldn’t trade these visits for anything!! My grandmother has got to be one of my favorite people in the entire world and I’ve savored every conversation; every moment with her this week. What a fountain of wisdom.

Awww, Becky!! That’s such a great picture to have ~ and the ‘welcome home’ streamers are great! I’m sure your hubby loved them!
Thanks, Jolanthe! 🙂
