Thanks for purchasing one of more of our educational apps! We are sorry to hear you’re having sound troubles. On this page, you’ll find our best tips and tricks if you’re having trouble getting the sound to work on your apps.
Helpful Tips if You’re Having Trouble with Sound
1. Check the app’s sound settings located either in the Parents or in the Settings section. If there is a sound on/off button, turn it on.
2. Adjust your device’s volume by pressing the volume buttons.
If you still can’t hear sounds, your device may be muted. While in mute mode you may still hear some sounds from your device, but some apps may be muted. If you’re using an older iPad or iPhone you can unmute your device using the side switch located next to the volume adjuster. If your side switch is assigned to orientation lock you need to assign it to mute/unmute.
3. Delete the app from your device and reinstall it from the App Store.
4. Be sure you have the most recent iOS update, if you’re using an iPad or iPhone. This can affect any of your apps.
5. Check to see if you have the most recent version of the app. Some of our apps have been updated. Be sure you are working in the most updated version.
