If you’ve never visited Hubbard’s Cupboard, you’ve just got to!  I like all her literacy resources, but I just discovered this week that she has a Bible curricula for 2 year olds, 3 years olds, and ages 4-6!  They all appear to be literacy-based.  I’ve had several people ask me if I know of a good place to find Bible curricula for these ages.  I haven’t checked into these in particular myself, but you might just want to check them out.

Free Books for the OP family:

  • Sounds (or view on one sheet here)
  • The Farmer (one sheet)

Free Books for OT Family:

  • The Hot Pot (one sheet)
  • The Tot (one sheet)

We also recently purchased some Bob books.  My favorite set for us right now is Set 1: Beginning Readers.  Although Set 3 says it is for Word Families, it is not written for a Kindergartner, as I had hoped.  The vocabulary is too difficult.  So if you want to purchase a set of readers to work on word families, I’d highly recommend Set 1!
